Managers Pierre and his wife Rachel are passionate about France. Pierre was born in Nancy, Lorraine and spent his childhood in Speyer, Germany before returning to France in Southern Alsace. Pierre has a vast teaching experience. He has taught at university level in France (BTS - Brevet de Technicien Supérieur) in Mulhouse and in Paris for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He has also taught at the Institut Français, a prestigious French language school in London, part of the French Foreign Affairs cabinet. His other teaching experiences in a notorious Parisian language school and in Sydney have enabled him to work with multinational companies, embassies as well as individuals. Now a French teacher in Sydney, Australia, he is establishing his own dream - French Moments.

Pierre holds a Master of Translating and Interpreting English-French with the degree of Master of International Relations and a degree of Economics and Management. Pierre is an accredited translator (english->french) by NAATI.

Rachel is originally from England and fell in love with France at a young age! She is bilingual and worked in Paris for an American investment bank where she organised many sophisticated events. She was also involved in a London-based company which helped promote the Alsace region to the British market. She is passionate about all things French, especially French gastronomy and oversees the cultural events, marketing and French Savvy section. She is one of the key organisers behind the trip to France.

The organisation of a trip to the Northeast of France in July 2012 will be a great opportunity for them to show their guests the beauty and exceptional cultural richness of Lorraine and Alsace. For more information about the 2012 French Trip, please click here.
